Desert Spanish Weekend – March 23-25, 2012
Desert Spanish Weekend was a huge success and attended by more than 700 architecture enthusiasts. The Saturday home tour was particularly well-received and the quality and variety of the houses curated by PSPF board members Ron Duby and Gary Johns was noteworthy. The release of the 80-page tribute journal Desert Spanish: The Early Architecture of Palm Springs, which was beautifully illustrated and impressively researched, earned PSPF board member and author Patrick McGrew much praise and congratulations. Award-winning film actress, director, and author Diane Keaton was the weekend’s honorary chairperson and graciously attended the Saturday house tour.
